ANALOG

I refer to these physical paintings as “Analog,” a way to differentiate this series from my digital work. These painting were created between 1995 and 2014 as quick gestural studies. I prefer to work in a round or a square format with the support of hand-made papers. I used acrylic paint applied with brushes and palette knives. In the many examples seen here, there are added collage elements that give the painting another level of interest.
